Travel

Faro airport is about 35 minutes away. Direct flights are available with many budget airlines including easyjet , ryanair and aerlingus. Car hire is not necessary, but if you wish to have your own transport, leading car hire companies operate form Faro airport. We can arrange airport pick-up at a small charge.

Coast/Beach 

The magnificent coastline spreads from the Old Town along sandy coves and golden beaches, drawing families with children right through to retired couples. Everyone finds something to enjoy in this holiday mecca, which retains it's old world charm.  A leisurely 15 minute stroll from the apartment takes you to the beautiful golden beaches of Santa Eulalia or Praia da Oura. Alternatively get the tourist train or local bus to the Old Town and the Fisherman’s beach. 

Golf

Balaia golf course is 5 minutes away; the Sheraton Pine Cliffs is about 5 minutes away and Salgados is about 15 minutes west. All the golf courses in Vilamoura are a 15 minute drive. There is a taxi minibus which can transport players and clubs.

15 minute drive by car or taxi to Zoomarine (an absolute must!). Other leisure parks include Krazy World, Slide and Splash and Aqua Land. Dedicated bus services available to all of these.

The famous Strip which leads down towards the beach is lined with dozens of cafes, restaurants and bars. In contrast the Old Town of Albufeira has a special charm all of its own, with its cobbled side streets and its main square which comes alive at night with people, music and lights.
